What a great experience. The staff were accommodating and as helpful. Unfortunately we were not able to complete our business, as the projected roll out has not got the backing of Hardware and software required. Once again the powers that be creating opportunities for friends, with no delivery to the poor people on the front line. Why, oh why do you do this? The guys in the trenches are ready, but all you supply is promises and hot air. Shame on you!
Maybe it is time to consider government ministers and their minions being paid on performance and not time spent in the office?
It would certainly decrease the wages…

I took my mum in a wheelchair today without an appointment. We were given priority and seen to first. I also managed to do my ID smart card as well. Mrs Pillay at the Chatsworth home affairs is amazing . She's so friendly and works so efficiently.

Such a waste of time and money! Everything requires an ID in this country including sitting down for the NSC Examinations yet kids can't even get their ID's done because service is so poor at the Home Affairs. Our youth should actually have first preference for these things because they are the future of South Africa. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star it deserves 0. Very disappointed In our Department.
